The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit

Urgent & Emergency Care

We provide a comprehensive array of emergency medical services, addressing minor illnesses and injuries as well as critical trauma cases. Our services extend to readily available ambulance responses for on-base medical emergencies, and the transportation of individuals​ requiring a higher level of care to designated off-base hospitals. This department operates 24/7 ready to attend to any urgent medical needs.​

Appointments

Appointments are not required to receive care in the Emergency Department. Patients are seen in the order of their medical urgency, not in the order of their arrival in the ED. Emergency medical conditions that cannot be treated at NH Naples will be stabilized prior to transfer to another medical facility.
