After Hours Emergency
Please contact the U.S. Naval Hospital Rota Emergency Department at 727-3307/3308 if you experience any of the following: tooth/gum pain, swelling or total loss of teeth from trauma, jaw locked open or closed, profuse bleeding from oral extraction/surgical site.
Dental Classification
Class 1: Patient with current examination, who do not require dental treatment or reevaluation.
Class 2 Patients with current examination, who require non-urgent dental treatment or reevaluation.
Class 3: Patients who require urgent or emergent dental care. Non-deployable.
Class 4: Patient who require dental examinations. Non-deployable.
In Summary:
Class 1 and Class 2 Service Members can deploy, PCS, and reenlist. Anyone listed as Class 3 and Class 4 are non-deployable and not medically/dentally ready.
