​Scope of Care

Our Laboratory provides a comprehensive range of services to all inpatient and outpatient beneficiaries here at Naval Hospital Rota.  The Lab is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week to aligning with inpatient and emergent patient care requirements. 

Clinical Pathology Operations Available:

• Chemistry
• Hematology
• Serology
• Limited Microbiology
• Transfusion (Blood Bank)
• Urinalysis

Accreditation

The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, and the American Association of Blood Banks. It is licensed by the Office of Biologics of the Food and Drug Administration.
