Dental Policies

Patient Safety

Children aren’t allowed to be unsupervised during appointments and must be always accompanied by a guardian while in the clinic waiting area. Children aren’t allowed in the treatment room during a parent’s or guardian’s dental appointment. Adults who bring unsupervised children to dental appointments will be rescheduled with the next available appointment.

Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during their appointment. Drop-offs aren’t allowed.

Missed Appointments

To work efficiently, it’s essential we fill all our scheduled appointments and keep failures (no-shows) to an absolute minimum.. If you can’t attend your appointment, please call the dental clinic as soon as possible to reschedule. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to change a scheduled appointment. No-shows for appointments, and cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment, will be considered a failed appointment. For active duty service members, any medical or dental appointment is considered your assigned place of duty at that time.

Space Available

Dental services for retirees and their family members, and command-sponsored civilians and their family members, will be provided on a space available basis.

Don't forget to keep your family's information up to date in DEERS!
