Optometry Clinic

The Optometry Clinic offers comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat both refractive errors and ocular diseases. Our optometrists prescribe spectacle lenses to correct refractive errors and improve vision. Contact lens prescriptions are available on a space-available basis. Glasses will be ordered for active-duty personnel and reservists on extended active-duty orders.

In addition to these services, the clinic evaluates and treats ocular diseases within the scope of optometry and prescribes therapeutic drugs appropriate for optometric care. During these examinations, our optometrists assess patients who may need to consult with and/or receive treatment from Spanish network ophthalmologists, including specialists in retina, cornea, glaucoma, and oculoplastic conditions. The optometrist will make appropriate referrals when necessary.

No referral is required to schedule an appointment at Rota Optometry. We currently also offer 10 Space-Available appointments weekly for DOD Civilians, DOD Contractors, retirees, and their dependents.
