Each military pharmacy’s prescription refill line may be unavailable for about two hours. If you call the prescription refill line at this time, you will hear a busy signal. Please wait and call back to complete your refill later.  
You may still use the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to refill your prescriptions.  
You may report issues to the DHA Global Service Center by calling 800-600-9332.

Preventive Medicine Operations

Preventive Medicine Officers and Technicians provide a wide range of services to protect and preserve the health and quality of life for all active duty service members, their families, and anyone else in our community.

Preventive Medicine

  • Monitors and aids in the treatment of animal bite/scratch incidences in conjunction with the Army Veterinarian
  • Conducts medical surveillance for all infectious diseases.

Provides Education in:

  • Sexual health and practices
  • Travel precautions
  • Travel related medication
  • Food safety and sanitation

Performs in depth inspections for:

  • Food serving facilities
  • Facility sanitation and habitability
  • Parks and recreational areas
  • Fitness and aquatic facilities

Conducts drinking water surveillance for:

  • Total coliforms (fecal contaminants)
  • E-coli
